New Delhi‘s Connaught Place is one of those areas where you can walk everywhere that matters — the metro station is literally a few minutes away, and you’re surrounded by everything from street food vendors to proper sit-down restaurants. I mean, couples rate this spot 9.4 out of 10, and after spending time here, I totally get why. You can grab breakfast at the hotel, then step outside and be shopping at Janpath or exploring India Gate within minutes. The whole circular design of Connaught Place means you’re never really lost, which is pretty reassuring in a city as massive as Delhi.

The Room Experience

The room I stayed in was clean and functional — nothing fancy, but everything worked properly, which isn’t always a given in this price range. The air conditioning actually kept up with Delhi’s heat, and the Wi-Fi was reliable enough for video calls back home. What I appreciated most was the attention to small details: fresh towels daily, decent water pressure, and blackout curtains that actually block out the street lights. The beds are comfortable enough, though if you’re used to high-end hotels, you might find the mattresses a bit firmer than expected.

Food That Delivers

You know what surprised me? The food here is actually really good. The breakfast spread includes both American and buffet options, and they do justice to both styles — proper scrambled eggs alongside fresh parathas and local fruits. The restaurant staff clearly takes pride in what they serve, and you can tell they’re not just going through the motions. I ended up eating dinner there twice because, well, why venture out when the dal and rice hits the spot perfectly? Plus, with parking available right at the hotel, you don’t have to worry about finding a spot if you’re brave enough to drive in Delhi traffic.

  It was a nice comfortable base safe place to explore Delhi .. found the rooms a little on the small side .. but staff were very helpful and friendly and the restaurant was extremely good..

  Nice boutique hotel close to the centre of Connaught Place. Metro stop is less than 5 mins walk. Friendly staff and good continental breakfast.

  Staff were very helpful and accommodating of numerous requests I had (help with laundry service, help to receive parcel delivery, very late check in past 1:00 am, etc.) Room service food very tasty. Beds ultra comfy. Room was warm and comfortable in Jan. Location just can't be beat. I had breakfast one morning and it was satisfactory but nothing special.

  Great location, in Connaught Place – very central for everything in Delhi. Very comfy room, spotlessly clean. Had kettle and tea/coffee making facilities and fridge in room. Staff are super helpful. Nice breakfast. Great restaurant where we ate one evening – very tasty food. Peaceful. Very enjoyable stay.
