  I had a great stay at Hotel Hauz Khas Fort View. For a budget hotel, it exceeded my expectations with clean and comfortable rooms and all the essential amenities. The location is convenient, making it easy to explore the area.

  it's good for a simple one or two night stay if you need a place in the HKV area. of course you can find better, but in this case it was for a very last minute stay and for traveller's budget reasons for me. you get what you pay for, a simple room. there's some bugs. maybe some hair on the floor or sheets. a bit grungy bathroom. but if you are ok with a simple place to stay, it's fine.
  
  What could be improved: i think it's safe but if you're a woman alone and at night, it seems a bit dicey outside around the entrance. it's clean but it's also an old place, so don't expect much.
