The metro station is close enough to reach central Delhi easily, but far enough that you’re not dealing with constant noise and crowds. I actually loved taking evening walks around the neighborhood — there are small parks nearby, and you get to see how regular Delhi families live. Plus, there’s free parking right on site, which anyone who’s driven in Delhi will tell you is basically a miracle.

Your Room and Space

The room I stayed in was clean and comfortable, though don’t expect fancy furnishings or marble bathrooms. What you get instead is a space that feels lived-in and welcoming, with good air conditioning (essential in Delhi) and reliable WiFi. The beds are actually quite comfortable — I slept well, which isn’t always a given in budget accommodations. There’s something refreshing about staying somewhere that doesn’t try to be something it’s not. It’s a proper bed and breakfast, emphasis on the “home” part of the experience.

Breakfast Worth Waking Up For

Now, the breakfast — this is where Vandana’s really shines. You get a choice of Continental, Vegetarian, or Asian options, and everything is made fresh in their family kitchen. I went with the Asian breakfast most mornings and was genuinely impressed. The parathas were perfectly flaky, the dal had that home-cooked taste you can’t fake, and the chai was strong enough to wake the dead (in the best way). Vandana often sits and chats with guests during breakfast, sharing local tips that you won’t find in any guidebook. That personal touch makes all the difference.

  The place was excellent and I like it very much. The rooftop garden and scene was marvellous. Space to sit down outside with a coffee and laptop for work.
  
  What could be improved: When I reached the property, it 11pm and the temperature was around 11c, and I was wearing a short sleeve t shirt only. At the situation I was told by the property owner, the booking was cancelled and informed booking.com. To date, I have not received any email from booking.com about it. I had a very time. However, the property owner was very generous to allow me inside, and he arranged my stay in another property. Later, I was shifted to the original property, and I enjoyed it. So I am unhappy about booking.com.
