The Neem Overview

First Impressions

Walking into The Neem, you immediately notice how this three-star boutique hotel punches way above its weight class. I mean, with a 9.3 rating, you’d expect something special — and honestly, it delivers from the moment you step through the doors. The lobby has this understated elegance that feels more intimate than flashy, which actually works perfectly in New Delhi where so many places try too hard to impress.

Location & Neighborhood

Here’s what I love about Greater Kailash Part 1 — you’re in one of Delhi’s most coveted residential areas, but it doesn’t feel touristy at all. The location gets a 9.4 rating from couples, and I totally get why. You’ve got the M Block Market just a short walk away (perfect for evening strolls and some serious shopping), plus you’re close enough to major attractions without dealing with the chaos of central Delhi. The parking situation is actually fantastic here — free on-site spots, which anyone who’s driven in Delhi will tell you is basically gold.

The Room Experience

My room was surprisingly spacious for what you’d expect in this price range. The design feels contemporary but warm — think clean lines with touches of traditional Indian textiles that don’t feel forced. What really impressed me was the attention to detail: proper blackout curtains (essential for Delhi’s early sunrise), a work desk that’s actually usable, and air conditioning that works efficiently even during the brutal summer months. The bathrooms are well-appointed too, with good water pressure and modern fixtures.

Service & Amenities

The staff here genuinely seem to care about your experience — not in that over-the-top way that feels scripted, but more like they want you to have a good time in their city. I noticed they have a lot of repeat guests, which honestly tells you everything you need to know about the service quality. The front desk team knows the neighborhood inside and out, so they’re great for restaurant recommendations beyond the usual tourist spots. There’s also a small restaurant on-site that serves decent Indian and continental options, though I’d recommend exploring the local food scene in GK1.

Why Guests Love It

You know what makes The Neem special? It’s that sweet spot where you get genuine comfort and excellent service without paying five-star prices. The fact that so many guests return says everything — this isn’t just a place to sleep, it’s a proper base for exploring Delhi. Whether you’re here for business meetings in South Delhi or want easy access to both the airport and central attractions, the location works brilliantly. Plus, couples consistently rate it highly because it strikes that perfect balance between being in the heart of things while still feeling like a peaceful retreat from Delhi’s intensity.

Early hotels booking in Delhi secures spa suites for Holi, VIP fashion week seats, and heritage dinner reservations.

  • Janet from United Kingdom – 15 March 2025 (10/10)

Quiet location but central. Easy to get around from the hotel. Staff were warm and welcoming and extremely helpful. We slept and eat well here.

    What could be improved: Nothing

  • Katie from United Kingdom – 11 March 2025 (9/10)

The B&B is in a good location, we felt very safe walking about in the evening, it is close to a lovely little market/shopping area.
It was clean and the staff were friendly and welcoming.

  • Tracey from Australia – 1 February 2025 (10/10)

    Friendly helpful and professional.
    Beautiful environment.
Delicious food and lots of variety for breakfast and dinner each day.

    What could be improved: Nothing

  • Alessandro from Italy – 30 January 2025 (9/10)

The place is good and easy to use as a starting point for visiting the city, the rooms were spacious and the bathroom was fine.
I recommend the breakfast which has a good amount of stuff for being in a small BnB, the staff was pretty good.

What could be improved: We left early in the morning and had a little inconvenience by doing the checkout, but nothing really important that wouldn't let me give a high rate to this place. A bit noisy during the day because of the people inside the BnB, but if you are out visiting the city that's not important at all.

  • Bruno from Brazil – 18 January 2025 (9/10)

Staff is great. Host is amazing and always there to help and support. Laundry service was fast, good price, and well done. Hospitality 10 stars

What could be improved: A little bit too costly for Delhi. Maybe not the best value for money, but hospitality over balances it.
The shower is limited to 4 minutes of hot water due to boiler capacity, what is kind of annoying

  • Sally-ann from South Africa – 18 January 2025 (10/10)

Quiet neighbourhood of Delhi but a quick Uber trip to wherever we needed to go. It was good to come back after a busy day to the peace & quiet. Slept well and very comfortable beds.
The host Abdul was extremely attentive and arranged private transport to our next destination.

  • Avnish from United Kingdom – 14 January 2025 (10/10)

Whereas I thought it was a charming place, my wife and our two adult sons travelling with us thought otherwise

I found the living room on the first floor (one flight up – different countries have different definitions) to be very charming, the breakfast to be good, the cleaning regime to be excellent

What could be improved: Our sons’ room was cramped. Our younger son paid for another hotel due to this

Our room was damp with damp clearly visible on the wall next to the bathroom

  • Vijaya from Germany – 5 January 2025 (10/10)

The hospitality was astounding, the house and the rooms were spotless and very nicely decorated. Special shout out to the manager Mr. Abdul for taking especially good care of us, he even lent my mother his jacket for a whole day as she was feeling a bit cold. The food served for breakfast and dinner is simply out of this world, I probably had the best chicken curry I had during my entire India trip at the Neem. If you are considering this hotel, don't think twice book it instantly.

What could be improved: No negatives.

  • Chris from Japan – 26 December 2024 (10/10)

The staff was extremely kind and helpful.
