I mean, couples particularly seem to love this spot (the hotel gets high marks from romantic travelers), and I can see why — it feels residential and authentic rather than touristy.

The Room Experience

The room I stayed in was clean, comfortable, and surprisingly quiet considering you’re still in Delhi. Nothing fancy, but everything worked properly — the AC was strong (crucial in Delhi’s heat), the Wi-Fi was reliable, and the bed was actually comfortable enough for a good night’s sleep. The bathroom was compact but well-maintained, with hot water that came quickly. What I really appreciated was the attention to small details — fresh towels, decent lighting for reading, and enough electrical outlets in the right places.

Practical Perks

The hotel’s restaurant serves solid Indian food that’s perfect when you don’t feel like venturing out — their dal and roti hit the spot after long days of sightseeing. Parking is available, which is honestly a blessing in this part of the city if you’re dealing with a rental car or taxi pickups. The front desk staff knows the area well and can actually give you useful directions and recommendations that go beyond the typical tourist traps. They helped me find a great local market that I never would have discovered otherwise.

  The breakfast Indian tradition, buffet ok according to the Indian expectations, laundry service quick, Not too far from the Kailash Colony metro station., coffee shop open again after renovation, reception desk ready to help and give infos, good bed, local area like the others in Delhi, luxe lives with poverty This hotel is also a museum for the well known mountaineers climbing Himalaya in 1950's. Nice pictures, texts and documents. Local street market and food trucks not far, shopping market for food not far too.
  My stay had to be done by partial stays, because 2 nights full booked while i have booked period by period, staying at the hotel and two separate nights outside then back at the Legendary Inn
  
  What could be improved: noisy air con, normal, like everywhere in Asia, wifi not fully secured and internet, both a bit low speed, but ok reasonnable and working
