Here’s the thing about staying in Mahipalpur — you’re basically in New Delhi’s airport district, which sounds less glamorous than it actually is. The hotel sits on Bypass Road, and while that might sound like you’re stuck in the middle of nowhere, you’re actually perfectly positioned if you’ve got early flights or late arrivals. The area has grown into this sort of mini hospitality hub over the years, with decent restaurants and shops within walking distance. Plus, getting into central Delhi is straightforward once you know the metro connections — though honestly, most guests I’ve chatted with here are either in transit or on business trips.

The Room Experience

My room was compact but thoughtfully laid out, which seems to be the hotel’s signature approach to space management. The bed was surprisingly comfortable — you know how sometimes three-star places skimp on mattresses? Not here. The bathroom was spotless, though the shower pressure could be better (but that’s pretty standard for this part of the city). What I appreciated most was the attention to little details: proper blackout curtains, enough power outlets, and air conditioning that actually works efficiently.

The breakfast spread is where this place really shows its boutique personality. They’ve got this buffet setup that covers Continental basics alongside proper Asian options — and I was pleasantly surprised by the vegetarian selections. The parathas were made fresh, which you don’t always get at hotels this size. The coffee was decent too, though if you’re particular about your morning brew, there’s a local café about five minutes away that does excellent South Indian filter coffee.

What strikes me about this hotel is how it manages to feel personal despite being part of the airport corridor chaos. The staff genuinely seems to care about getting things right, and there’s this relaxed efficiency that makes your stay smoother than expected. Couples particularly seem drawn to the place — maybe it’s the quieter vibe compared to the larger chain hotels nearby, or perhaps it’s just that the restaurant area has this intimate setup that works well for romantic dinners. The parking situation is hassle-free too, which matters more than you’d think when you’re dealing with Delhi traffic and tight flight schedules.
