Hotel Urban Tree At Delhi Airport Overview
First Impressions
Walking into Hotel Urban Tree At Delhi Airport, you immediately notice how they’ve managed to create something that feels surprisingly calm despite being right in the thick of Mahipalpur. I mean, this is New Delhi‘s airport district we’re talking about — usually it’s all concrete and chaos — but somehow this three-star property has carved out a little oasis. The lobby isn’t trying too hard to be fancy, which I actually appreciate. It’s clean, modern enough, and the staff genuinely seem happy to see you rather than just going through the motions.
Location & Getting Around
Here’s the thing about staying near Delhi Airport — you’re either here because you have an early flight or you’re using it as a base to explore the city without dealing with central Delhi traffic. The hotel sits on Road No 2 in Mahipalpur, and honestly, it’s one of the better spots in this area. You’ve got the metro connection nearby, which makes getting into the city center totally doable, and there’s actually some decent local food within walking distance if you’re brave enough to venture out. The parking situation is refreshingly stress-free — they don’t charge for it, which is becoming rare these days.
The Room Experience
My room was on the third floor, and I was pleasantly surprised by how quiet it was considering the location. The air conditioning works properly (crucial in Delhi), and the bed was actually comfortable — not just “hotel comfortable” but genuinely good sleep comfortable. The bathroom is compact but well-designed, with decent water pressure and hot water that doesn’t take forever to arrive. You know what I really appreciated? The blackout curtains actually block out light, which sounds basic but you’d be amazed how many places get this wrong.
Breakfast & Dining
The breakfast spread here is honestly better than it has any right to be for a three-star place. They’ve got this whole buffet setup with Continental options, proper Full English breakfast items, and some solid Asian choices that actually taste authentic. I tried the Italian section one morning — decent pasta and fresh bread that didn’t feel like an afterthought. The restaurant area gets good natural light, and the coffee is strong enough to wake you up properly. They even do breakfast to go if you’re rushing to catch a flight, which shows they understand their clientele.
Why Guests Love It
What really sets this place apart is how it balances practicality with comfort. Couples seem to particularly enjoy it here — there’s something about the atmosphere that feels more intimate than your typical airport hotel. The staff remember your name after the first day, the WiFi actually works throughout the building, and they don’t nickel and dime you for basic services. It’s not trying to be something it’s not, but what it does, it does well. For the price point and location, you’re getting solid value without any nasty surprises.
Savvy travelers reserve a hotel in Delhi before cricket finals fill stadiums and traffic corridors.

Reviews of Hotel Urban Tree At Delhi Airport
Syed from United Kingdom – 13 January 2025 (7/10)
Location is near airport but very hard to find . Had to contact them multiple times. But they were helpful. Rooms are good size . The morning receptionist was nice and welcoming.
What could be improved: It’s like hit or miss . We had five rooms booked , out of them two rooms had 10% to 0 %water supply in the tap. Forget warm water , there was no water . Pillowcases were ripped . Duvet cover was worn out . And the night time receptionist . Bro need to learn to smile and some basic customer skills like making guest feel welcome. it won’t harm him.Arjun from India – 5 December 2024 (8/10)
The room was maintained well and was clean. The housekeeping staff was approachable and helpful.
What could be improved: Food was not really good, wouldn't recommend ordering room service.Mann from United Kingdom – 13 November 2024 (6/10)
The rooms were clean and the hotel was a 20 minute taxi to terminal 3.
What could be improved: The aircon didn't work and the hotel declined to accept a debit or credit card for payment. This was difficult as I had no local currency and had to accept their exchange rate on GBP.Stephen from United Kingdom – 11 November 2024 (7/10)
Perfectly situated for the airport, and the Metro is just a short walk away.
Very cheap.
What could be improved: Aerocity isn't a very nice area and very noisy, although this hotel is away from the worst of the noise. The taxi driver found it difficult to find.Kunal from India – 7 November 2024 (7/10)
Cost of the room
What could be improved: It would have been possible to consider the fact that due to irregular flight timings I stayed for less than 48 hrs bt had to pay for 3 nights, would have been great to get some discounts.
Guest visits aren’t allowed even for a few minutes & even after I’d submission.Priya from India – 2 November 2023 (8/10)

Hotel staff were cooperative and helpful. The airport is easily accessible.
What could be improved: Room facilities were minimal. The location is pretty tough to find without the internet.Connor from United States – 3 June 2023 (7/10)
Good value for the price. Fine for a layover when you just need a place to rest.
What could be improved: Not very clean, but not many places are in India.Zoraida from Spain – 1 April 2023 (8/10)
I loved the hotel. The best one I have stayed in Delhi so far. The reception is clean and the room is very comfortable, the bed is sooo nice! I ordered food and also enjoyed it. And very close to the airport ! If you need a nice hotel for good money definitely book this one !!
What could be improved: Well just the guy who received me was a little bit rude to me. I booked a solo room but then my friend came with me (last minute) and of course I had no problem to pay extra but he kept saying no he's not allow. Then he told me I have to pay extra and obviously I agreed and it was all good. I understood his position I just felt a bit mistreated the way he spoke to me.
