Hotel Pearl – Mahipalpur Delhi Airport Overview
First Impressions
When I first pulled up to Hotel Pearl – Mahipalpur Delhi Airport, I’ll be honest — I wasn’t expecting much from a three-star property in this part of town. But you know what? Sometimes the best surprises come in unassuming packages. The staff greeted me with genuine warmth, and there’s something refreshingly straightforward about this place that immediately put me at ease. It’s not trying to be something it’s not, which I actually found quite charming.
Location & Getting Around
Here’s the thing about Mahipalpur — it’s basically the sweet spot for airport access without the chaos of central Delhi. I mean, you’re literally minutes from Indira Gandhi International Airport, which is perfect if you’ve got an early flight or you’re dealing with jet lag. What surprised me though was how couples seem to really love this area (apparently they rate it 8.3, and I can see why). There’s free private parking right at the hotel, which honestly saved me a headache since Delhi traffic can be… well, you know. The neighborhood has this quiet residential feel that’s a nice break from the city’s intensity.
The Room Experience
My room was clean and comfortable — nothing fancy, but everything worked properly, which is more than I can say for some pricier places I’ve stayed. The air conditioning was a lifesaver (crucial in Delhi’s heat), and the bed was actually quite decent. I appreciated the practical touches like good lighting and enough outlets for all my devices. The bathroom was spotless, and the water pressure was solid. It’s the kind of place where you sleep well and wake up refreshed, which is really all you need sometimes.
Breakfast & Dining
The breakfast buffet was where this place really won me over. They’ve got continental options alongside proper Indian vegetarian dishes, so whether you want toast and eggs or something more local, you’re covered. I found myself going back for seconds of their parathas — they were genuinely good. The restaurant area is bright and welcoming, and the staff keeps everything well-stocked throughout the morning hours. It’s not elaborate, but it’s fresh and filling, which sets you up nicely for whatever your day holds.
Why Guests Love It
What really strikes me about Hotel Pearl is how it nails the fundamentals without any pretense. Recent guests have been rating the location 8.4, and I totally get it — you’re close to the airport but far enough away that you don’t hear planes constantly. The value proposition here is solid; you’re getting reliable comfort at a fair price. It’s particularly great for couples looking for a quiet base (those 8.3 ratings don’t lie), and honestly, for anyone who wants a straightforward, well-run hotel without paying for bells and whistles they don’t need. Sometimes simple done right beats fancy done wrong.
To book a hotel in Delhi during Republic Day, visitors plan ahead to pair parade grandstands with Mughal garden strolls.

We only stayed one night as we were flying home next day. Very handy for the airport and staff were very helpful and friendly . Food was good too. Located in a back street, so not a holiday destination, but ok for business or when in transit.
What could be improved: Location wasn’t great but taxi drivers found it okDmitri from Estonia – 26 March 2025 (9/10)

Good location close to the airport.
What could be improved: Beware of hidden fees!!! We booked 2 rooms with double beds and upon arrival they wanted to charge us extra because we had 4 people!? 2 rooms with double beds is made for 4 people everywhere else in the world!? They refused and made us pay more for the 2 “extra” people. Insane. Typical scammy India. Won’t ever stay again, there were plenty of other nice hotels on the same road. Will take my business there. I understand charging for extra people past 4, but 2 should be included per DOUBLE room. Not sure if the worker just scammed us and pocketed the cash or what but it was a bad experience.Kumar from India – 29 December 2024 (9/10)
