Hotel Lagoona and Banquet Hall Overview
First Impressions
Walking up to Hotel Lagoona and Banquet Hall in Wazirpur, you might wonder if you’ve stumbled onto something special that most tourists miss. This three-star property sits tucked away behind Punjab Kesri, next to Prem Badi pool — honestly, the location reference points make it sound more complicated than it actually is. Once you find it though, there’s something refreshingly unpretentious about the place that immediately puts you at ease. The entrance welcomes you with a straightforward charm that sets the tone for your stay.
The Wazirpur Advantage
Here’s what I love about staying in this part of Delhi — you’re getting authentic local vibes without the tourist markup. Wazirpur isn’t where most visitors end up, which means you’ll experience how real Delhi operates. The neighborhood has this lived-in energy that’s hard to find in the more polished hotel districts. You know what’s great? Couples seem to really get this place — there’s something about the quieter streets and the fact that you’re not surrounded by tour groups that makes it feel more intimate. The area offers genuine cultural immersion.
Your Room and Space
The room I stayed in was clean and functional, which honestly matters more than fancy fixtures when you’re exploring a city all day. The air conditioning works well (crucial in Delhi), and the beds are comfortable enough that you’ll actually get decent sleep. I mean, it’s not going to win design awards, but everything you need is there. The banquet hall component means the property has more space than typical city hotels — you’ll notice this in the common areas, which don’t feel cramped. Thoughtful amenities enhance your comfort throughout.
Getting Around Delhi
From here, you’re well-positioned to explore without being stuck in the absolute chaos of central Delhi traffic. The metro connections aren’t right at your doorstep, but getting to the main tourist spots is totally doable. What I actually appreciated was having parking available — if you’re brave enough to rent a car in Delhi (or have local friends picking you up), this becomes a real advantage. Most hotels in busier areas charge premium rates for parking or don’t have it at all. The location strikes an ideal balance between accessibility and tranquility.
Why Guests Love It
That 8.9 rating makes sense once you spend a night here. It’s the kind of place where expectations align perfectly with reality — you’re not paying for marble lobbies or rooftop pools, but you’re getting solid service and a genuine local experience. The staff seems to actually care about helping you navigate the area, which goes a long way when you’re trying to figure out Delhi’s sprawling geography. Plus, there’s something to be said for staying somewhere that locals might actually choose for their own events (hence the banquet hall). It gives the whole place a more authentic feel than hotels that exist purely for tourists. This property represents honest hospitality at its finest.
Apartments in Delhi suit consultants with serviced residences, dedicated work pods, and quick access to corporate hubs.

Breakfast/room/cleanliness – nice place to relax after facing the heat. Given that India is not a country you can walk around easily after a day tour, this hotel is recommended to spend a rest of the day
Apoorva – 18 May 2024 (9/10)
Great location, really pleasant and clean rooms, but the thing that makes this such a good place to stay are the staff. All of the people are incredibly helpful and generous with their time and advice.

This was our first time to delhi and we loved every minute of it. The hotel was just what we needed; comfortable, extremely clean and very friendly. Staff were professionaland approachable and were always able to help; whether booking a taxi or just a quick chat
Nasar from India – 18 May 2024 (9/10)
I stayed as a single person for an overnight visit. It was the perfect size and space for what I needed. Very clean and comfortable. I originally booked a single, but was upgraded to a double. I think it would have definitely on the small side if I were sharing that space it another person, though. The hotel staff was very kind and accommodating
