Here’s what I love about staying in Paharganj — you’re literally steps from New Delhi Railway Station, which means no stressful taxi rides through traffic when you’re catching an early morning train. The area gets a bad rap sometimes, but it’s genuinely fascinating if you embrace the madness. Street food vendors line the narrow lanes, budget travel agencies are everywhere, and there’s this constant hum of activity that never really stops. Couples seem to particularly enjoy exploring the neighborhood together — the hotel mentions they rate the location 8.8, and I can see why. You can walk to Connaught Place in about 20 minutes, or hop on the metro at New Delhi station.

The Room Experience

The room I stayed in was surprisingly spacious for Paharganj standards, with air conditioning that actually worked well (trust me, this matters in Delhi’s heat). What impressed me most was how quiet it felt despite being in such a busy area — they’ve clearly invested in decent soundproofing. The bathroom was modern and clean, with hot water that came quickly. You know what’s nice? The staff genuinely seems to care about keeping things tidy, and housekeeping was thorough without being intrusive.

Breakfast & Dining

The breakfast spread here is honestly impressive for a three-star place — they’ve got everything from continental options to full English breakfast, plus Indian dishes and even vegan and halal choices. I mean, where else in Paharganj can you get kosher breakfast if you need it? The restaurant area is bright and welcoming, and the staff knows how to make a proper cup of coffee (which isn’t always a given in budget Delhi hotels). They also do breakfast to go, which is perfect if you’re catching an early train or want to eat while exploring the nearby markets.

The fact that they offer free private parking is huge if you’re driving in Delhi (though honestly, I’d recommend against it). You’re close enough to everything that matters — the railway station, metro connections, Chandni Chowk, and the backpacker scene — but the hotel itself feels like a calm refuge when you need to recharge.

  Pros:
  – Hotel very close to the railway station.
  – Staff was very helpful.
  – AC, Tv were working.
  – Washrooms were clean.
  – Food was decent.
  
  Cons:
  – Manager charged 15% extra for the rooms than the price at which we booked the room.
  – Bedsheets, blankets and towels weren't too clean ( carry your own )
  – There were a few tiny cockroaches in the room.
  
  Overall, nothing fancy but good value for money.

  The hotel was very good value for money considering what we paid. It was well located near the train station and on the edge of the old town. The staff were very friendly and helpful.
  
  What could be improved: The hot water was very limited. The facilities were a little worn but that is to be expected given what we paid for the room.

  Staff is good and rooms are well for what you're paying. It's a good hotel with decent size rooms and cosy bathrooms. Staff was amazing and fulfilled our request for early check in.
  
  What could be improved: There are couple of things that can be improved. I noticed there was a sign with hot water timings on the reception. It didn't caused any issue to me personally, but in my humble opinion people are free to shower whenever they want, you can't trick them to shower on certain timings. I would recommend reviewing this policy.
  The other tiny thing I didn't like is the hotel won't provide any plates or cutlery if you order food from outside. I understand there are policies in place, but people would love to taste different foods which might not be available on your menu, I request reviewing this part of policy too. Apart from this, everything was excellent. And I appreciate fulfilling our request for early check in.

  It was really clean and everything new. Very nice rooms, really good value for money. The location is also great and the staff nice. The rooms were definitely the nicest and cleanest that Ive seen in Delhi and other places in India for this price.
  
  What could be improved: The staff is super noisy and is sometimes shouting orders and other things to each other till super late and even in the middle of the night. I think they don't understand that foreigners can't sleep through everything like an Indian. Also at times they cleaned a room near mine super early with music from their phone on super loud. Banging doors too and receptions phone is loud as well. Definitely no sound proof rooms.
