  Clean and neat. Running water eg. hot water for my shower worked good. The beds are very comfortable as I’m used to a good mattress. I was surprised by this.
  When arrived I could have an early check in. When arrived in the room the shower in the room was not working properly and I got another room instantly. Breakfast is simple but a good start of the day.
  The quality of the mattress was my biggest surprise and paying a higher price would be fair enough.
  
  What could be improved: The rooms are bit noisy if your room is at the street side. I had my earbuds with noice canceling on!

  This was my first time to India so the Hindustan was a great base to start from thanks to the kind and reliable staff. My airport pickup was perfect and they set me up with a sim card too I have three weeks in the country but I didn't take up the hotel's offer of a tour package across India (incl train tickets, hotels, guides , etc), preferring to make my own arrangements. Once that was clear they were still very kind in helping me book some train tickets and did not pressure me for more. So I certainly would trust them: they appear to live up to the reviews as honest and knowing their stuff. If you are in the market for a full tour plan they can definitely set you up. Anyway– thanks to Hindustan Backpackers Heavan for getting my trip off to a great start!
