The lobby has that comfortable, lived-in quality that makes you think the staff actually cares about what they’re doing — and honestly, after staying here, I can say they really do. It’s not flashy, but there’s something reassuring about a place that focuses on getting the basics absolutely right.

Location & Getting Around

Paharganj gets a bad rap sometimes, but staying here puts you right in the thick of New Delhi‘s most authentic neighborhood. You’re literally walking distance from New Delhi Railway Station, which sounds chaotic but is actually incredibly practical — I mean, you can catch trains to anywhere in India without dealing with Delhi’s traffic. The area buzzes with street food vendors, budget shops, and that unmistakable energy of travelers from every corner of the world mixing with locals going about their daily business.

The Room Experience

My room was clean and well-maintained, with air conditioning that actually worked (trust me, this matters more than you think in Delhi). The beds are comfortable enough, and there’s decent storage space for your luggage. What I appreciated most was the attention to cleanliness — the bathroom was spotless, and housekeeping clearly takes pride in their work. You’re not getting premium amenities here, but you’re getting solid comfort at a price that won’t make your wallet cry.

Breakfast & Dining

The breakfast spread surprised me in the best way possible. They offer continental options alongside Indian dishes, plus there’s a proper buffet setup that changes daily. The vegetarian selections are particularly good — actually, some of the best hotel breakfast Indian food I’ve had. If you’re rushing to catch an early train or flight, they’ll pack breakfast to go, which saved me more than once. The restaurant staff seems to understand that travelers have weird schedules and they work with you on timing.

Why Guests Love It

Here’s what really sets this place apart — the staff genuinely wants to help you navigate Delhi, and they’re not trying to sell you anything while doing it. The front desk folks know the area inside and out, from which auto-rickshaw drivers are reliable to where you can get your laundry done quickly. Couples seem to particularly enjoy staying here (the hotel mentioned this, and I can see why) — there’s something about the atmosphere that feels relaxed without being impersonal. The parking situation is handled well too, which matters if you’re brave enough to drive in Delhi. You know what? Sometimes the best hotels aren’t the ones trying to impress you with marble lobbies — they’re the ones that make sure you sleep well, eat well, and feel like someone’s looking out for you in an unfamiliar city.

  Best Hotel i had so far in/near Paharganj.
  Close to New Delhi Railway Station. I was lucky to have a very quiet room facing away from the busy street. The Bed was very comfy, wich made for a good rest after a long Train Journey.

  Very nice hotel to stay in Delhi. The room vas very comfortable and big, same as bathroom. We had dinner in the restaurant downstairs and the food was delicious! and very cheap.
