  Great breakfast and dinner. Huge twin room and bathroom. Staff excellent and Dimple at Reception in particular was exceedingly helpful to us.

  Our room was spacious and the balcony at the front was lovely in the sunshine. Service was excellent and very helpful. We were unaware of Khan Market (short walk) but presume the higher room rate is due to the hotels proximity to this higher end ‘mall’ with western shops and a lively restaurant/bar scene.
  
  What could be improved: After two weeks travelling around India we were unpleasantly surprised at the cost of dining in the hotel. It is essentially twice the price of any of the good hotels and restaurants we had previously stayed in, with no perceptible increase in quality – furthermore, whilst the outside dining was pleasant at lunchtime, the harsh lighting and uninspiring decor of the Yellow Brick Restaurant rendered the pricing totally inexplicable!
  We were also unimpressed with the bass boom from the DJ set whilst ‘enjoying’ and early evening drink in the bar.

  Superb location, excellent size rooms, great breakfast, very friendly and helpful staff, good to have a convenience store on site, strong wifi, nice bar, peaceful outside area. And an easy stroll to the excellent eating options in Khan market.

  The premium rooms are a little distant from the elevators, but the ambience is worth it because there is none of the faint smell of sewage that is evident throughout the main section.
  Their Yellow Brick Road restaurant is in the odor-free wing and served us the best full English breakfast we have had during our month in India.
  Very walkable location for Lodi gardens and Museum of Modern Art. Also right next door to the Khan Market, with excellent cafes and restaurants/ shopping/ ATM.
  
  What could be improved: The Ambassador, like many older hotels in India has a sewage drain venting issue. It’s barely noticeable, but there.

  It’s in great location, you will get that vibe of capital city. The property is also good, basically it’s an old building maintained well and added modern amenities.
